Magnus Handworks Gauge 1/G-scale NR108 locomotive - converted to Battery Control
Here we have a rather unusual and interesting loco, a Magnus Handcraft NR108 locomotive based on the Swiss prototype.
If you are familiar with Magnus locos they were hand made in batches of no more that 100, and were very expensive I understand new they were north of £5000.
This loco has been converted from the standard 2-rail system to battery operation with the batteries being mounted in the tender.
It was radio controlled but this was removed to be upgraded, by the previous owner for an upgrade.
I will be honest and say the loco is I need of some touch ups and a bit of TLC, but it’s bones and are solid and the detail parts are there.
Sorry about the shipping costs but the metal box this comes in weights a huge amount and the loco is not what you would call light.
