16mm Scratch built Radio controlled European NG Central Cab Diesel 32mm Gauge

Here we have an unusual but very interesting item, based on the generic later half of the 20th century N/G Diesel you would get in northern and Eastern Europe. This one is on the centre cab style of loco.

This is 16mm scale and gauged at 32mm, it’s has been scratch built out of plastic card, with metal for the frames and bogies. Also the gearing for the motors is also metal so they won’t disintegrate on you.

The couplers are Kaydee’s.

Both bogies are are from Essel engineering, so are well powered and have coupling rods so all wheels are powered.

The electronics is a 12volt system and the radio control system is from Fosworks and this includes full sound, which the builder record from the full size loco.

This loco does not come with a hand set as this was paired with the Blue & white diesel I already have listed as well.

This is why there is a price difference between the 2, if you would like the loco supplied with a controller I can arrange this at cost.

The On/Off switch is underneath the loco as well as the charging socket (CHARGER NOT INCLUDED)

The loco runs really well, and can run at a nice scale speed, but is also powerful enough to pull pretty much any rolling stock you care to put behind it.
