Here we have a very nearly complete gauge 1 Barrett Engineering Midland Compound locomotive.
As you can see from the photographs, the engine is very nearly complete and has been built to a very high standard.
The motion is free rolling and mechanically the loco looks to be very sound.
There are a few minor components to complete the engine. I have spoke to Barrett Engineering they can still supply these.
The loco has 2 outside cylinders and has an axle pump as well as a hand pump in the tender.
